A special Visitor!

Today we were visited by by a police officer who came to talk to us about his job. He wore his uniform and showed us lots of different equipment that he uses such as handcuffs, a baton, a walkie talkie and a camera attached to his top. The children tried hard to think of questions they could ask to find out more about his job. Here are some examples of the questions they thought of: "Can police be arrested?” “Do you have a police car?” “ Do you work at night?” and “Do you take the bad guys to jail?” The children found out that the police are there to help us and keep people safe. They were allowed to try on three different hats, got a sticker and were given some activities to complete such as colourings and spot the difference. The children showed interest in learning more and they listened carefully. Well done everyone! 🌟
