We had a great day celebrating World Book Day! The children enjoyed sharing their costumes and talking about who they were dressed up as. They listened to a performance of Michael Rosen on the big screen and then performed 'We’re going on a bear hunt' around Pre-School which ended with them finding a bear in the garden! After that, the children enjoyed a snack of some tasty bread made by our school cook, Wayne and some special cakes brought in by one of the children whose book was all about cakes. Excitedly, we then went to the hall to share our love of books with some of the older children in school.
All the children looked absolutely fantastic. What a fabulous day!😀
